I'm so excited to be visiting Design Thoughts today to share a guest post about bright and cheerful rooms for boys. Open and filled with light, this attic bedroom is perfect for a boy who is ready to venture upstairs to his own space. It's perfect for sleeping, playing and learning.

A rainbow of color fills this cheerful big boy bedroom. Clever display and storage ideas can be seen throughout the space. I also especially like the large stripped rug and accent wall.

Red, white and brown (not the more obvious blue) bedding is an unexpected color choice in this traditional coastal style boy's bedroom. Kids love to see pictures of themselves, so those framed photos are perfect at the head of the bed.
